In the lesson we had a range of devices to pick from to use in an interview setting. We discussed the best digital standalone recorder to use looking at advantages and disadvantages over each other and how to use each recorder.

HOW TO USE THE ZOOM H4N PRO. Check battery levels of recorder before use. Insert sd card into the recorder checking storage amount before. Head phones can be used to listen to audio during and after the recording to gage sound quality of recording by inserting it into the audio jack of the recorder.

How to use adobe audio 2020

In this lesson we had to learn how to edit a audio recording of our interviews using Adobe Audition 2020. We learning how to import,cut,reverb,overlay?
SETUP
Drag audio file into the software .use the space bar to play and stop the audio. Draging the blue arrow above the audio recoding to go to wanted time in the recoding.
Cutting
Click on cutting tool it looks like a razor when using it will be highlighted in blue place onto audio for amount of audio to be removed.Using move tool found next to the cutting tool click onto cut section previously getting highlighted then delete.
Crossfading
When section of audio is deleted click and hold onto second section and drag back. This blends both audio as if left alone it would be a void of no sound effecting the pacing of the audio.
Fade in/out-Fading in and out allows the introduction and ending of a video to be more of an experience as the frequency of volume is lowered into and out of the the sound.This gives of the ecspressuon of a more cinematic feeling.
Interview
What did i do -In the lesson we learned how to edit a audio recording of a interview we did in groups.
What went well- The interview went well the recording came out clearly in the audio clip shown below showing the differences. What i edited was the gaps in between each question as it took be a long time to answer.I cut these sections out to allow a more normalised flow of recording then cross added them in editing aswell.
